Gemporia began in 2004 and we are a British live television and online jewellery retailer sourcing gemstones across the globe. Since the end of 2017, we are now very proud to be an employee-owned company and we are constantly seeking to grow our successful team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic developer to join and lead our team that produces and maintains the applications that support the business objective of being a best in class retailer.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the business platforms in the development of new features, enhance existing functionality and the investigation and resolution of defects. Through strong communication and problem solving you will be able to take the briefest of specifications and provide solutions that will add value to the business.

Your responsibilities will include

· Working with the associate director to prioritise and deliver projects on time

Feedback progress, identify blockers provide options for solutions

· Challenge and grow the existing back end development team

Motivate and support personal and professional growth in the roles whilst being challenging to help deliver an engaged team

· Work with the support, front end and app teams delivering strong communication and working collaboratively to solve challenges to achieve end goals

· Work with the wider business to understand project specifications to exceed expectations on delivery

· Identify new tech opportunities that the business can benefit from

Essential Skills and Experience:

- Experience of managing a team, running multiple concurrent projects

- Excellent communication skills

- Positive and flexible attitude to managing time

- High quality standards and attention to detail

- C#

- .NET Framework (winforms and webforms)

- .NET Core

- ASP.NET

- Javascript

Desirable Skills And Experience:

- GIT based source control

- Azure Devops

- CSS

- Bootstrap

The job offers a blended working environment with offices based in Redditch, Worcestershire, B98 and remote home working.

Salary:up to £65k depending on experience
