Protocol Education are currently working with a client school, who are looking to appoint a teaching assistant in Key Stage 2 to fit into their friendly and supportive team. The applicant should have experience of working with children, either in a school or nursery setting. Candidates who have worked with as a youth worker or with a care background may also apply. To be considered for this role you must live in and hold the Right to Work in the UK.

The ideal candidate will have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new certificate for £38.

We Are Looking For Someone Who
  • Will work alongside the class teacher and support the children’s learning
  • Is engaging and enthusiastic
  • Can support children to complete set work; working with individuals and small groups
We are currently looking for teaching assistants who can follow class plans, take direction from the class teacher, and help to prepare lesson resources. The successful candidate will be ambitious about working with and supporting children and feel passionate about seeing children make progress.

The Candidate Will
  • Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK
  • Have proof of ID and addresses
  • Be able to provide two references within the last 2 years
