Part -Time Teaching Assistants Required - Melton Mowbray Hours: 8.15am - 3.15pm We are currently looking for enthusiastic and passionate teaching assistants to join our team. We are working with a variety or primary schools in Melton Mowbray and the surrounding area’s, who require supply teaching assistants on a day-day basis to support with children aged 4-11 As a supply teaching assistant, your role will be: To take on the role of a permanent member of staff in their absence To assist the teacher with their daily activities, provide support and interventions to low ability learners and provide extra support over lunch/break time duties. To provide a safe and secure learning environment for children inside and outside the classroom The provision for children with special educational needs according to the discretion of the teacher. This is an extremely rewarding role and can offer you the flexibility to chose which days are suited to you on a weekly basis The ideal candidate will be: Caring and passionate about delivering the best support and safeguard all pupils in their care Qualified to at least a level 2 (Supporting teaching and Learning) or equivalent Have previous experience supporting children in a classroom environment Be willing and able to provide at least two professional references (including most recent employment) Have an enhanced (child workforce) DBS on the update service or be willing to complete a new application If you would like more information about supporting schools and pupils in the Melton area, please get in touch
