Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? We’re seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the team at a Primary School in Burnley.

Position: Teaching Assistant - Year 5
Location: Burnley

Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to students. Working closely with the class teacher, you will assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and supporting the overall learning and social development of students.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to support their learning needs.

Collaborate with the class teacher to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Monitor and track the progress of students, providing feedback to the teacher and SENCO.

Support students in developing social skills and building confidence.

Assist in managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning atmosphere.Requirements:

Relevant experience working with children.

A patient and empathetic approach, with a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning.

Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with teachers and parents.

Relevant qualifications or certifications in SEN support or education (desirable but not essential).

Ability to adapt to the varying needs of individual students and differentiate learning accordingly.APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR VERITAS EDUCATION
