Job Description

Flourish Education are seeking a fulltime Teaching Assistant (TA) to work in a mainstream 1-form entry primary school near the Gloucester City Centre.

The school has an “Outstanding” Ofsted report and is located less than 5 miles from the Gloucester city centre.

The school are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant (TA) for a Reception/Early Years class beginning at the end of February half-term on a long-term role.

The Teaching Assistant (TA) would need to have previous experience working with Early Years/ Reception and be committed to a full-time long-term position.

THE ROLE

  • To support class teacher with everyday activities.
  • Working in a Reception/Early years class.
  • To provide support to class pupil’s.
  • Build relationship with class pupil’s.
  • Provide safety to the class children.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Qualified minimum level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent.
  • Experience working in an Early Years environment.
  • Commitment to a long-term post.
  • Minimum of 2 good references required.
  • DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months.
