Teaching Assistant – Barnham Support Assistant

Two Posts

Temporary Term Time Only September 21 – July 22

Start Date: 2 September 2021
Hours: Post 1 – 5 Days per Week - 8.45am-3.20pm includes 1 hour lunch break
Post 2 – 1 Day per Week (Monday) 8.45am-3.20pm to include a Mid-Day Meal Duty

Salary: Teaching Assistant Grade 3, Point 3 – FTE £18562 (£9.62 per hour)
Mid Day Meals Supervisor Grade 2 – Point 2 – FTE £18198 (£9.43 per hour)

We are looking for two Teaching Assistants to join this team.

The ability to be flexible and adapt to children’s needs together with an understanding of the issues and barriers which can affect children’s learning is required.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team, have high levels of professionalism and have an interest in their own professional development. Good levels of literacy and numeracy (GCSE A-C) are required.

Experience of moving and handling and/or the Key Stage Two curriculum is desirable.
