Teaching Assistant (Full Time)

Primary

York, North Yorkshire

£350 t0 £500 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

This large, ’Outstanding’ primary school, located near Knapton, York are looking to appoint a passionate Teaching Assistant to work within their within their designated SEN Learner classrooms, this will be on a full time basis, ranging from group to 1-1 sessions. Working in this primary school as part of an established team, the desired Teaching Assistant will provide a engaging and positive learning environment, they will have a clear knowledge on SEN and provide inclusivity in the classroom. This full time Teaching Assistant role is long term and potentially permanent.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;
  • Experience of working with primary school aged children.
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
  • A passion for the progress of primary school pupils.
  • An ability to work as part of a team.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Willing to complete our FREE safeguarding course.
  • Willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service
  • Hold a Level 2 or 3 Education, Health or Childcare based qualification.
