Ivy Lane School is a two-form entry Primary School in the centre of Chippenham, Wiltshire. We believe in ‘Learning for Life’, aiming to equip every child with both the skills to be successful beyond their primary years and a life-long appetite for learning. We place a huge importance on outdoor learning and are very lucky to have Forest Schools Provision. We also have an extensive provision of social and emotional support for our children. It is an exciting time for Ivy Lane with our new build nearing completion, which will house our Early Years and Year 1 classes. It is a state of the art, modular building with large open plan classrooms and outdoor space.

We are looking to appoint a committed and flexible teaching assistant, to support groups and individual children with their learning. Being able to work as part of a team is essential as well as being able to use your own initiative. A positive outlook and a sense of humour is essential! The successful candidate will need excellent communication and liaison skills and will be closely supported by a class teacher and wider team.

Hours

27.5 hours per week, 8.30am – 12pm and 1pm - 3pm, with a 1 hour unpaid lunchbreak each day between 12pm and 1pm.
Monday to Friday, 38 weeks per year, (term time only, excluding TD days).

Salary

D4 – D6, £18933 - £19698 pro rata, per annum
(actual salary £11766.37 - £12241.80 per annum), dependent on experience.

Required To Start On Thursday 2nd September 2021.
