Summary

Sutton Veny CofE Primary School is a happy, successful and thriving village school with well-motivated children and supportive parents and governors. We are looking to appoint an apprentice teaching assistant to join our excellent team of staff.

As an apprentice teaching assistant, you will work under the direction of the class teacher and the training provider for the apprenticeship. The main duties involve supporting individual or small groups of children and assisting the class teacher in delivering lessons, as well as contributing to the overall running of the school day.

Hours of work: 30 hours per week (Monday – Friday)

Type of Apprenticeship: Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship

Expected Duration: 12 – 18 months, depending on progress through the course. May lead to permanent employment for the right candidate on completion of the apprenticeship.

Training Provider: Wiltshire College

Closing date: Monday 21st June 2021 at 12.00 noon

Hourly Rate: £8.72 per hour

Interview date: Monday 28th June 2021

Commencement date: Wednesday 1st September 2021
