Ormiston NEW Academy, recently graded Ofsted ’Good’, is a school based on a clear and defined pedagogical model and explicitly taught behavioural norms. The latest inspection report praises the school’s leaders for creating a "culture where positive behaviour and discipline are celebrated". It says that NEW Academy is a “vibrant school”, that students “enjoy coming to” and where they are “safe”. Students at NEW Academy understand that they must try their best and strive for excellence at all times,” In the most recent Ofsted inspection one student told inspectors, “I know that today will not be my best, because tomorrow will be better”.

Being an expert, you will share your expertise with students and then help them recreate it so they know how to succeed. Together you’ll shatter glass ceilings and inspire their learning journey. They’ll inspire you too in a calm, focused environment where we encourage our students to be industrious and curious. Manners matter every day and we are building explicit, taught behavioural norms to train our students in success. Showing our students the route to success is important here.

We are looking for a teacher who specialises in Spanish.

Ormiston NEW Academy caters for 11 to 19-year olds, with 764 students on roll, we provide a vibrant learning environment with first-class facilities. Our Academy is a member of Ormiston Academies Trust (OAT) which is one of the largest not-for-profit multi-academy trusts in England. OAT educates over 30,000 pupils across six English regions, in 31 secondary schools, seven primary schools and one special school. They are one of the longest established trusts and have been sponsoring academies since 2009.
