We are looking to recruit an outstanding Teacher of History. A skilled subject specialist, enthusiastic and committed, the successful candidate will initially teach within KS3 and the ability to teach other Humanities subjects would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will work within a team of six specialist teachers, building, developing and maintaining effective teamwork within the curriculum area. The successful candidate will ensure their lessons inspire all learners developing an enthusiasm for History and the richness of the subject through the production of high quality exemplar materials and demonstrating a range of techniques and approaches to the study and understanding of History.

Enthusiasm, flexibility and team working are essential, as are good organisational skills and high expectations of our learners.

Sprowston Community Academy is a growing 11-18 school serving the North-east of Norwich.
