Red Balloon Learner Centre, Cambridge is recruiting for a part time English teacher for September 2023.

We work with young people aged 11 to 18 who have been severely bullied and/or experience high levels of anxiety about attending school. We provide a safe environment with clear boundaries for behaviour, and an individual full-time academic, pastoral and therapeutic programme. Once students have regained their confidence and are able to cope academically and socially, we support their return to mainstream school or college or into employment. It is important that the jobholder concurs with this aim.

The following teaching opportunity is available from September 2023;

Teacher of English - part time - 16 hours a week (0.4fte based on a 40 hour week).

Salary from £22,575 depending on experience.
