Job Description

We invite you to join us as we grow our Talent Acquisition department in Birmingham. We are looking for Talent Sourcing Specialists to join our dynamic and international team that collaborate on recruitment projects in different markets across various countries.


You will be responsible for sourcing and screening qualified candidates for targeted positions as well as proactively building and nurturing a pipeline of skilled and diverse talent.


To succeed in this role, you will be service minded and passionate about people. You will ideally have prior experience of recruiting in complex global markets, as well as knowledge of the engineering, environmental and/or management consulting industries.


Our ideal candidate will be based in the Midlands so can travel to Birmingham twice a week. We can be flexible with regards to location but in these cases there is a requirement to attend the Birmingham office at least once a month to collaborate with the wider TA team.

You will join our Global Talent Acquisition department

You will join our Talent Acquisition team based in Birmingham. The team consists of passionate colleagues from countries such as the UK, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway who are all looking forward to welcoming you.

Working as part of Ramboll’s Global Talent Acquisition organisation, you will play a critical role to define and deliver creative recruiting strategies for complex roles that span across multiple business areas and geographies within the Ramboll Organisation.

Talent Sourcing Specialists are responsible for proactively sourcing talent for roles of all levels across a variety of channels to reduce reliance on external agencies which includes conducting excellent quality telephone screening. You will also provide stakeholders with subject matter expertise regarding labour market data, recruiting trends, competition and target geographies for specific areas of talent.

You will be part of a global and forward-thinking Talent Acquisition community and will perform your job in close collaboration with your colleagues.

  • Previous recruitment experience of working in a large international company or a recruitment agency
  • Remarkable business acumen within Engineering, Environmental and/or Management Consulting
  • Ability to research, interpret and utilise competitor information
  • Advanced skills in proactive outreach, candidate searching and telephone screening
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Additional language skills such as Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, German, Italian, French and/or Spanish would be highly advantageous
  • Knowledge of Social Media, Recruitment Tools & Systems including LinkedIn
  • Used to delivering results against SLAs, KPIs and team objectives
  • Ability to effectively prioritise multiple job openings under tight timelines
