**Job Description:**

We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Local Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering food orders promptly and safely to our customers within the local area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy driving and interacting with customers while representing our brand.

**Responsibilities:**

1. Deliver food orders accurately and efficiently to customers’ homes or specified locations within the designated delivery area.

2. Ensure timely and safe delivery of orders while adhering to traffic laws and delivery guidelines.

3. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers courteously, confirming order details, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.

4. Handle cash payments and maintain accurate records of transactions, ensuring the safekeeping of cash and receipts.

5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle, including regular inspections and adherence to maintenance schedules.

6. Assist with packaging and preparing food orders as needed during off-peak delivery times or when required by management.

7. Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure efficient order preparation and delivery processes.

8. Uphold food safety and hygiene standards at all times, including proper handling and storage of food items during transport.

9. Follow company policies and procedures regarding delivery operations, including route planning, scheduling, and customer communication.

10. Communicate effectively with customers, management, and fellow team members to coordinate delivery logistics and address any issues or challenges.

**Requirements:**

Own Car/Insurance required.

1. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

2. Prior experience as a delivery driver or similar role preferred.

3. Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local roads and routes.

4. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.

5. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

6. Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.

7. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and reconciling receipts.

8. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

9. Physical stamina and strength to lift and carry food orders as needed.

10. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Salary: From £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
