Tailor-Made Travel Consultant

Hours: 37.5 per week

Holidays: 22 days per annum plus Bank Holidays

Role Purpose

As Tailor Made Travel Consultant you are expected to provide personalised and exceptional travel experiences to clients by understanding their unique preferences, needs, and expectations. Tailor Made Travel Consultants aim is to create bespoke itineraries that reflect the individual interests of each client, selecting the most suitable flights, accommodations, and activities to ensure a memorable and fulfilling travel experience.

Responsibilities

Client Relationships Management:Building strong and lasting relationships with clients by engaging in detailed conversations to understand their travel preferences and desires. This involves developing a deep understanding of clients wants, needs, and expectation and maintaining regular communication to provide personalised service throughout the travel planning process.

Customised Itinerary Creation: Crafting detailed, accurate, and high-quality travel itineraries that are tailored to meet the specific interests and preferences of each client. This includes selecting appropriate flights, accommodations, excursions, and activities that align with clients preferences and expectations, ensuring a personalised and memorable travel experience.

Sales and Conversion: Utilising effective sales techniques and communication methods to convert client enquiries into bookings. Tailor Made Travel Consultants leverage their knowledge to clients preferences and interests to recommend suitable travel options and experiences, effectively addressing any concerns or objections to secure bookings and maximise sales opportunities.

Single Point of Contact: Acting as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the travel planning process, from initial enquiry to post-travel follow-up. Tailor Made Travel Consultants provide ongoing support, guidance, and assurance to clients, ensuring a seamless and personalised experience from start to finish.

Qualifications:

  • You must be based in the UK to apply.
  • Proven experience, minimum of 3 years in a similar role within the travel industry
  • In depth first-hand knowledge of some or most of the destinations we provide.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong sales acumen with the ability to convert enquiries into bookings.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in using travel booking systems and software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for travel and a genuine interest in providing exceptional customer service.
