FINTEC recruit is seeking a Systems Engineer for our engineering client based in Lincoln. This is a permanent position based in Lincoln or potential of working remotely. You will be currently working as a Systems Engineer with experience of whole lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical solutions and product breakdown structures at bid stage
  • Production of engineering management plans
  • Production of sub-contractors SOR / SOW (as required) to support solution delivery
  • Production of use cases that support bid storyboards
  • Identify appropriate tools and processes that support SA delivery and reduce engineering overheads
  • Provision of requirements analysis on assigned projects
  • Production of top-level design and documentation on assigned projects
  • Production of design documentation for Design Reviews
  • Ensuring that solutions are ready to enter design reviews
  • Provision of product owner input into review boards
  • Solutions are ready for review with SA work finalised including but not limited to PDR, CDR, FAT and SAT
  • Supporting the Software Lead and Test manager with acceptance criteria for each product line requirement

Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:

  • Experience/knowledge of requirements management
  • Exposure to systems integration and/or test experience of complex, high-reliability systems
  • Experience of verification and validation (V&V) activities to achieve certification and acceptance
  • Experience of working in multi-disciplined Engineering teams
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Able to generate high-quality documentation (test specifications, procedures & reports)
  • Experience of defining verification methods and generating tests requirements/procedures
  • Experience of showing traceability of V&V tests to systems requirements & generating/updating Verification Matrices (VCRMs)

Qualifications

  • HND/HNC, degree (BSc/BEng/MSc/MEng) in a relevant STEM-based subject or equivalent experience.
