JOB OPPORTUNITY
Due to expansion, this leading warehouse automation manufacturer are recruiting Software Design Engineer to join their team.
Reporting to the Team Leader Service Design Engineer, the Software Design Engineer plays a fundamental role within our Customer Service Sales and Business Development department. Working closely with existing customers, the Software Design Engineer will carry out analysis and interpretation of Customers’ requirements and system solutions in logistics software solutions (with a main focus on KiSoft One WCS solutions but also others from our software portfolio (redPilot, KiSoft Analytics, SAP EWM)) incl. PLC and hardware and preparing project documents (description, calculation) for the customer or internal departments in accordance with the sales process.
Work alongside the Customer Service Account Managers to Validate Customers’ requirements.
Be the go-to person for technical matters within service projects, you take the customers’ needs and turn them into complete logistical solutions.
Define the necessary project phases, determine the costs involved and prepare a calculation file.
Work with Business Development locally and globally/.
Analyse and interpret data.
Conceptualise solutions.
Provide summary of costs, program, specification.
To participate in the production and presentation of.
Tender documentation and budget pricing.
Customer presentations and workshops.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Technical qualification (HNC or above) and have very good knowledge of the field of logistics as well as an understanding of complex warehouse systems.
Ideally have an in-depth knowledge/experience of WMS/WCS packages
Demonstrable understanding of work processes in logistic warehousing
Ideally have professional experience in areas such as engineering, software development and/or commissioning
Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills
Computer literate, confident using all Microsoft Packages
Ability to work autonomously and manage workload
Effective decision maker and excellent team player
