System Schematic Engineer – Electrical Distribution

REE is seeking a System Schematic Engineerto support REE’s rapid growth.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with component owners in order to gather electrical specifications
• Validate all connectors against specific wire CSA
• Responsible for the development and generation of logical and physical schematics and validating those against 3D CAD using automated tools
• Conduct circuit simulation analysis (fuse blow and voltage drop tests)
• Complete electrical connectivity including the wire lists for composite harness design
• Prepare EDS System mark-up drawings, and engineering change documentation
• Analysis of EMC requirements of systems and other components

• Engineering Degree Qualified
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience
• Experienced in LV (12V&48V) and HV (400V)
• Experienced in vehicle electrical architecture development from concept through schematics, prototype to production drawings and build instructions
• Ability to read and interpret vehicle wiring harness schematics and drawings
• Strong knowledge of EMC/EMI and Device Requirements
• Experienced with ECAD software tools (CAPITAL XC,LDORADO,ZUKEN,CATIA)
• Ideal candidate comes from an automotive background

Additional desirable requirements

• Interpretation of system architecture and logical architecture diagrams
