Position: Full-Time Recycling Operative
Salary: £10.42 per hour
Hours: Full-time, weekends essential

Are you passionate about sustainability and making a positive impact on the environment? Join our team as a Recycling Operator in Sheffield! We are seeking a dedicated individual who is committed to assisting members of the public in the responsible disposal of household waste.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist and guide members of the public in the proper disposal of household waste materials within the recycling center.
  • Ensure adherence to recycling guidelines and environmental regulations.
  • Sort and segregate recyclable materials efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment within the recycling facility.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing queries and concerns in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve recycling targets and operational efficiency.

Requirements:
  • Passion for environmental sustainability and recycling initiatives.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and interact courteously with the public.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to varying shifts as needed.
  • Physical capability to handle and lift moderate weights.
  • Previous experience in waste management or recycling operations is advantageous but not essential.
