Rebuild Cost Assessment offers home and business property owners a solution to the problem of under-insurance in buildings. We’re growing fast and are now looking for additional surveyors to join our team.

The Position:

The successful candidates will be working as part of a team of surveyors based at our head office in Poundbury, Dorchester, carrying out desktop rebuild cost assessments and local site surveys. In addition, they will be acting as technical support to the assessment team and advising our ever growing client base,

You will be:

· Qualified and/or experienced in areas such as: construction costs, quantity surveying, commercial and residential property, insurance, and risk management

· Have knowledge of insurance industry requirements relating to commercial and residential property.

· Have an interest in and an understanding of buildings, building technology and contents, as well as the various perils and risk areas around residential and commercial property

Skills required:

· Experience of property and construction.

· Great IT and keyboard skills with the ability to be able to learn inhouse systems swiftly

· Outstanding communications skills with the ability to negotiate and gain trust

· The ability to quickly identify and analyse critical details

· The ability to convey your findings in a concise manner

· A full UK driving licence

Overview:

The successful candidate will be based at our head office for an initial period and then moving to a hybrid working model. They must be self-motivated, and will be expected to produce both desktop and site-based assessments across the full spectrum of commercial and residential property risks, including HNW clients, as well as unique and bespoke structures.

This post requires you to have access to sensitive information and will be subject to a Basic Check with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
