New to care or experienced?Join us as a Support Worker at Robins Way, Lymington, which is an enhanced supported living service for people aged 18+ with learning disabilities, who are deaf and communicate using BSL. They support a range of additional complex needs including autism spectrum conditions and mental health needs.
Offering individualised support packages within a 24-hour staffed environment, the staff are all BSL trained with a large proportion of them are deaf or hard of hearing themselves. Some staff are Profoundly Deaf, whilst others have Cochlear implants.
Located in the town of Hordle, in the New Forest,It is near to the centre of the Forest, very close to the local beach, Bournemouth and Southampton Deaf Clubs as well as the local college who supply BSL communication support for a number of government run and leisure courses.
Location: Lymington, Hampshire, SO41
Permanent full time
£17,374 per annum based on 37.5 hours per week.
Additional Information: Must be a fluent BSL user or have level 2 or higher.

You!
You do not need to have experience to be a Support Worker, although a basic level of English and Maths is required.We employ our Support Workers based on their values.
