Job Advert Role Description

We are currently looking to grow our already established, fabulous team of support workers.

At Beach House we are passionate about providing excellent care and support to people with autism, learning disabilities and health needs. As a support worker you will have the opportunity to be part of a team who support our individuals to live their lives to the full as independently as possible. For this role due to the nature of taking residents out you will need to have a full manual driving licence.

What We Look For In a Support Worker

Previous experience as a support worker or care assistant is not essential, as long as you think you can:
  • Be reliable, friendly and caring to help the people we support to achieve their everyday goals, including personal care.
  • Be able to support in house and in the community activities and hobbies.
  • A driver is always a bonus, so we can take our residents out and about, but don’t worry if your not we have bus passes and we are very central so we do walk as well.
  • Help manage some behaviours that challenge.
  • Work with a great team of people and have fun.
