We are looking for highly motivated, skilled and reliable support workers to support a Male client in his mid 50s, Lives with parents who are in the 70’s and would like some help. Client experienced a stroke in 2019 and now has a right sided weakness and poor mobility in his right leg, and limited to no movement in his right arm.

This clients speech has been significantly impacted by the stroke and he has dysphasia. Meaning speech articulation is very hard and mainly he communicates via gestures, body language and miming.

Female support worker needed: This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010 as there is a genuine occupational need to recruit females only due to the nature of the role.

You Will Need

Must be a driver with access to own vehicle

  • Must be eligible to live and work in the UK (Sponsors are not available)
  • Caring, patient and empathetic nature
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Driving license with own transport
  • Motivation to make a difference to our clients

Your Responsibilities Would Include

  • Providing high quality person cantered support to our client
  • Supporting our client with working toward their goals
  • Supporting with daily living tasks and engaging in fulfilling and meaningful activities with our clients
  • Providing support to access the community that are engaging and fun for our clients.
  • Working under the supervision and guidance of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Support our client with daily living skills development (preparing meals, household chores, shopping) and also meaningful activities outside of the family home that offers him fulfilment.
  • Encourage Meaningful Activities within the community that offers the client Fulfilment
