Do you have an interest in supporting people with mental health needs, autistic spectrum conditions and learning disabilities to help individuals lead a more independent life? Are you enthusiastic, resilient, and driven to enrich and make a difference in the lives of these people?

We are looking for flexible and committed mental health support workers to work within a challenging hospital setting within Winchfield. The role will require you to support adults and young adults with mental health conditions, learning difficulties and autistic spectrum disorder. You will be working alongside a specialist team of psychiatrists, Registered Mental Health Nursers (RGN) and therapist’s so you are fully supported within your role.

The ideal mental health support worker will have experience but this is not mandatory as full training can be provided.

Due to the nature of the role all staff members are required to have valid restraint training such as MAPA / TMVA / PMVA.

If you do not have the required training it is mandatory that you attend our specialist 3 day TMVA training course.

This course usually costs £250 or more. We are able to offer this to you at a highly discounted price of £75! (We pay the remainder)

The hospital believes that the location in which the therapy takes place is just as important as the treatment itself which is why it is located in a horticultural area with spacious gardens for patients to relax in. The hospital has six newly refurbished wards all including on-suite bedrooms for each patient and comfortable lounge areas. There is also outdoor gym equipment available for patients to use as and when they want and each patient is prescribed an exercise programme to help promote a healthy lifestyle.
