Would you like a job where you make people smile every day?Discovery are looking for Support Workers to Support 1 female and 5 males to live their lives to the fullest by people who care and will promote their independence every day.Its important to the People we Support that they have Support Workers who are happy to get involved in daily activities with them, here are just a few things that you could be doing!
  • Music - anything from the 60s!
  • Going out to the pub,
  • Shopping,
  • Coffee & Cake at the local cafe,
  • Walking in the countryside,
  • Nights out at the disco!
  • Wrestling - we even went to a show recently!
Your role will also involve daily support which would include, personal care, food shopping, cleaning and financial support among other responsibilities.We are looking for people who care and are committed to improving the lives of others. Support Work can be the first step to a life-long career.You will receive on-shift training and support within the service to develop your skills and knowledge. Discovery will fund and support you to obtain your Care Certificate (a recognised qualification in Care); and can offer further career development opportunities including Apprenticeships and NVQ qualifications.After successful completion of your probationary period - Discovery will fund driving lessons for you to obtain your full driving licence.Why join us?Discovery is proud to be successfully accredited under the Great Places To Work Programme 2022.
