You’ll either be an enthusiastic person with plenty of patience looking for a career change to bring new life and experiences into our service or you’ll be an experienced Support Worker/ Care Assistant with a background in complex, emotional or behavioural settings looking for a change and wanting to be part of a team that will make a difference to young people or Adults with complex needs to give them new opportunities in their life both at home and in the community. We support all difference types of people with Motor Neurone Disease, Muscular dystrophy, Spinal Cord, acquired brain injuries and other complex needs that may include a physical disability, who would like support either on a 24-hour basis within their own homes or to access the community on daily basis dependent on their needs and wishes. You’ll get a fully paid induction with ongoing Nurse led training and support from a dedicated Manager plus the opportunity to undertake a qualification in health and social care funded by City and County plus so much more when you join. Role Guaranteed Hours Contracts Available- working within a package with one client in their own home on a rota basis being part of a dedicated team of carers. Hours- 12 Hour days shifts are usually days/ nights 7- 7 or 8-8 We can offer 36 or 24 hour contracts depending on the clients needs Working hours are on a shift pattern rota basis including some weekend working We work within the principles of person-centred support, enabling development and inclusion in their everyday lives within their home and wider community. You will be supporting our service user within their care own home with everyday living needs, personal care, moving & handling, promoting good quality of life & assisting with medication.
