Summary

Care Support Workers - Enablement Support Team - 1 year fixed term contracts

We Have 3 Full Time Positions Available In
  • Chippenham
  • Devizes
  • Salisbury
The core hours are Monday - Friday 8.30am - 16.30pm however there will need to be flexbility to meet the needs of the service.

This is in the new and exciting Enablement Support Team that will develop an outreach enablement service focusing on maximising independence for people with complex needs.

LIVE∙WORK∙SUPPORT

We are looking for people who have the ability to work as a team but also lone work, promote independence in a person centred way, IT literate, knowledge of support plans and risk assessments, you will be expected to organise your time and to use your initiative.

You must have the ability to work flexibly and adapt to change at short notice. Having a good understanding of Wiltshire Council’s policies and procedures, safeguarding and personal safety while working in the community is pertinent.

Please be aware that it is expected of your role that you are flexible and that some out of core hours working may be expected to fit the needs of the customers.

Your job role will involve you working with adults with Learning Disabilities, ASD and Mental Health. They will be referred to us by a social worker with realistic outcomes to be achieved over a 6-112 week period. Examples of outcomes could be around their finances, personal health, housing support or social skills. You will have access to a range of training to allow you to undertake this role to the full extent.

Other roles you may have experience of could include: Support Worker, Carer, Personal Assistant, Rehabilitation Worker, Advocacy Worker, Shared Lives Carer, Care Assistant.

For this position, you must be a driver with access to a vehicle.
