Support engineer - CADCAM Bright engineer with a manufacturing / engineering background and experience of using CAD/CAM required to join a team of customer facing technical specialists involved in a variety of work including problem solving, analysis, and training. The position can be home based for several days a week The role requires good communication and analytical skills, initiative, and flexibility to provide resolutions to customers having technical or operational issues with CAD/CAM software. The role involves: Provide support, training, and consultancy in CAD/CAM software for the design & manufacture of products Work with Product Development teams to provide ideas for product direction and to ensure that the solutions provided are appropriate for the market Keep up to date with the current Production Software products and future directions and strategies Work with Account Managers to provide technical advice to customers and prospective customers Collaborate with various teams across the business and build relationships internally and externally Ideal background: * Engineering background * Ideally be technically qualified BTEC or HND * IT knowledge * Must be willing to travel occasionally Keywords: Customer, support, CAD, cad/cam cnc
