Summary

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Supply Chain Planning Coordinator who will align all our customer demands, and then create, publish, and monitor a Production Plan for all YASA sites (including trial and NPI builds). The Supply Chain Planning Coordinator will be reporting to the Supply Chain Planning Manager and will be working closely with the Sales and Production teams to manage YASA’s order pipeline.


  • Coordinating production requirements.
  • Creating production plans.
  • Calculating accurate order completion dates by factoring in materials supply and production capacity.
  • Chairing weekly production planning meetings.
  • Providing internal customers with updates on the progress of their order.
  • Ensuring long-term production plan is reflected in ERP system to trigger demand in material schedules.
  • Checking and controlling the daily output of parts and motors.
  • Converting planned requirements into production orders.
  • Managing change or cancellation of production orders.
  • Managing unscheduled production requirements.
  • Publishing weekly despatch targets and updating business on attainment.
  • Supporting the S&OP process development and implementation.
  • Generating daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs monitoring Production achievement
  • Generating daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs reporting Customer OTIF

To succeed in this role, we believe you’ll need:

  • Previous proven experience working within an automotive production assembly environment.
  • Familiar with using MS Excel, MS Outlook and preferably a stock management system.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), good collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively with teams.
  • Good understanding and appreciation for health and safety to ensure a safe working environment for you, your colleagues and visitors at all times.

Though not expected, it would be very beneficial if you have:

  • Experience of using Microsoft Navigation Dynamics ERP system
  • Experience working within a business which has achieved IATF16949 certification.
  • Full driving license.
