Role:Supply Chain Optimisation Manager

Location:Bardon / Remote

Salary:£25,000 - £27,500 pa

Hours:Full time 40 hrs per week, Monday to Friday - start and finish time negotiable

This is an exciting & new role for NRS and is key to support the growth of the business and the aspirations for the future.

Reporting into the Head of Supply Chain, you will work alongside the Purchasing, Product Sales and Central Distribution Centre teams to continuously improve processes, will be confident to challenge the status quo and develop and implement new ways of working.

The role will work across multiple business functions and therefore support to wider aspirations of the business to reduce waste within the supply chain and ensure that it is fit for the future.

The Person
  • The successful candidate will be of degree calibre or able to demonstrate equivalent relevant experience.
  • You will be motivated, professional, and conscientious person to work as part of our Supply Chain team.
  • You will have a passion for process improvement and keeping the customer at the forefront of our mind.
  • You will be analytical in nature and have the ability to source information from multiple places, manipulate it and provide insight to support better decision making. Pace will be part of your nature but not at the cost of accuracy.
  • Your approach will be measured, with an attitude to own a solution and deliver the right result for the business based on data challenging the status quo.
Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for the improvement of stock accuracy and will drive stock reduction in line with agreed targets.
  • You will define, implement, and improve KPI reporting within the Supply Chain function.
  • Define the process improvement roadmap within the supply chain team and hold the business leads to account.
  • Implement new Supply Chain Operations successfully
  • Delivery of small Supply Chain Changes.
  • As the supply chain function within NRS continues to develop the roles responsibilities will also develop over time.
Key Skills
  • You must have excellent Excel skills, be competent in data analytics & insight.
  • You will be comfortable working in a fast paced and, at times challenging, environment and have the patience to address challenges calmly with a solution-based approach.
  • A working knowledge of SAP is desirable. (SAP R/3 and SAP S4 Hana)
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Strong operational and commercial awareness.
