ARNE is a direct to consumer, apparel and footwear brand/retailer based in Birchwood Park near Warrington, UK. We design and develop our products in the UK, manufacture in the near & far east and then ship directly to our customers, with ARNECLO.com ecommerce store as our only sales channel.

We have ambitious objectives over the next decade with the team believing all targets are achievable through new product category launches in shoes and womenswear alongside the creation of paid media, CRM activity and further international growth to amplify the great product / brand assets we have already created.

Reporting to our Commercial Director, you’ll have overall accountability for the supply chain function including compliance, managing samples and the day-to-day workload whilst supporting cross-functional teams from a supply chain perspective. Working closely with our Co-Founder and Commercial Director, as well as the wider teams you’ll play an important role in the management of our existing suppliers, whilst sourcing new suppliers. Aiming to limit risk whilst improving efficiency, quality, and cost.

This role requires an organised, pro-active, and hardworking individual who has experience working within a similar role. You’ll also need to be a strategic thinker who is commercially aware.

Requirements
  • Manage and arrange all shipments coming into the warehouse, on time and ready for product launch at the best price, for the best launch time
  • Manage receipting of products and put aways, making sure of consistency with what we ordered
  • Manage QC with product development team and QC operatives, helping to maintain consistency of what was ordered
  • Collaborate with suppliers and merchandising to manage sampling and production capacity for on time delivery, creating and monitoring a production plan.
  • Manage suppliers in terms of who offers best value, service and quality for the business
  • Work with buying, design and merchandising to validate new suppliers, completing costing and pricing exercises
  • Develop and implement strategies around setting up new suppliers and ensure following of supplier manuals
  • Manage compliance throughout the supply chain, adhering to manufacturing standards in the far east, Europe & Turkey
  • Help to build and delivery supplier manuals to help understand ARNE values, objectives and needs for the long-term
  • Build strong relationships across the whole business from operations to buying, merchandising, design, product development and finance
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required

Essential Experience And Skills
  • Experience within a Supply Chain based role in an ecommerce / retail environment is an advantage but is not essential.
  • Demonstrable experience as a leader of a supply team.
  • Knowledge of warehouse put-away process’.
  • Financial awareness and understanding of end-to-end supply chain process’.
  • Experience in leading projects and delivering change.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering process improvement and alignment between cross-functions.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to influence change.
