We know that our people are our greatest asset and we are delighted to be growing our team further as we have a requirement for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our manufacturing and extrusion site in Alfreton.
You will be required to analyse and take any steps necessary to improve the overall productivity of the supply chain and to strategise the speed of the processes of packing, loading and delivering products. This role is well suited to an agile and fast-thinking individual, happy to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsible for managing material and service requirements, this role will include managing supplier performance, maintaining inventory levels and delivering on agreed KPIs.
DUTIES: Manage and oversee the daily supply chain activity Timely response and resolution to customer, destination and internal queries Maintain and develop close working relationships with service providers Expediting of orders to meet customer demands Production scheduling and planning jobs to a high service level including capacity planning and ensuring any issues are discussed with customer. Ensuring stock levels are accurate and sufficient to fulfil planning requirements, liaising with other areas of the business to coordinate any shortage requirements Co-ordination of outbound logistics with warehouse and operations and resolving any issues KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE: Previous experience within a Supply Chain function in a large manufacturer Demonstrate proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts Experience of working with SAP Excellent IT skills, including Excel, Word and Power Point Strong attention to detail Excellent spoken and written communication skills BENEFITS You will be rewarded with a very competitive basic salary A solid career pathway and structured progression Employee discount on Eurocell products Life Assurance Pension Plan Employee Assistance Programme Discounts across many well-known online and high street retailers (Technology, Fashion, Supermarkets, Entertainment, Days Out, Home and Travel) Shares - the option to join the Eurocell Share Save Scheme, and share the company success
