Our client is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Administrator to be based at their Head Office, reporting to Head of Supply Chain

The Role of Supply Chain Administrator

You will be required to undertake a wide range of administrative tasks to support the purchasing of textiles from Southern Asia and the Far East.

This will involve liaising with suppliers in Pakistan, China, India and Bangladesh to build and maintain relationships and to help ensure the smooth running of the supply chain process.

Role responsibilities for the position of Supply Chain Administrator

To correspond daily with suppliers to progress the development of product, maintenance of a detailed cost price database and receipt, checking and placement of purchase orders.
Monitoring and tracking of new products for pricing, sampling, maintenance and reporting of critical path.
Attending pre-production meetings and contributing relevant data for PO progress relevant to your supplier base.
Liaison with Merchandise, Sales and QC Departments from initiation of sampling to delivery into warehouse to facilitate smooth ordering, shipment and reporting processes.
Tracking and recording of price negotiations, contracts and agreements. Production of reports and close liaison with Head of Supply Chain and Senior Buyer on financials and contract status
Collating and distributing supply chain information and analysis to the business, such as weekly shipment lists, invoice and packing details, relevant market place data, historic pricing reports
Creation, maintenance and reporting of supplier KPI reports.
Liaise with suppliers and Imports Dept on consolidation of containers, shipments and Letters of Credit.
Arranging and monitoring of overseas courier parcels, inbound and outbound.
Experience Required for the position of Supply Chain Administrator:

Experience within Supply Chain administration, ideally from the textiles industry
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work autonomously and under pressure, to prioritise own workload.
Work in conjunction with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Articulate with excellent command of both oral and written English and a great communicator
Excellent Microsoft skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
