Paying £27,000, Monday to Thursday 08:30-17:00, Friday 08:30-15:30, 23 days holiday (23 days holiday,plus UK bank holiday, rising to 25 days holiday after five years’ service) and Annual Bonus after probation period.

The successful candidates will support the Supply Chain Team Leader to provide BFC with a cost-effective supply chain, where supplier on time delivery, stock availability and product quality are our main focus, using their extensive experience of planning and forecasting.

Supply Chain Administrator Main Purpose

  • Utilise Winman standard process, Order Summary -Processing (OSP), to issue Purchase Orders and Subcon Orders
  • Place orders for forecasted or Reorder Point (ROP) products in Winman
  • Place orders for all other items based on demand and supplier lead time in Winman
  • Maintain regular contact with all suppliers to ensure timely and complete deliveries, updating Winman comments and due date with key supporting information
  • Escalate any deliveries that could lead to back orders or customer delays to the Group Supply Chain Team Leader
  • Track and liaise supplier payments with Finance, ensuring timely resolution of any financial issues
  • Coordinate with Warehouse to ensure the smooth flow of materials into the business and address product queries
  • Keep the Sales team informed of any price increases
  • Handle non-conforming deliveries (NCDs) by raising and closing them in a timely manner
  • Resolve Docuware invoice queries within 48 hours
  • Check and ensure that all order confirmations match
  • Conduct a weekly review of all supplier back orders and customer back orders to identify opportunities for pulling orders forward

Supply Chain Administrator Knowledge, Skills And Experience Required

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills – ability to communicate with all levels of the business
  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team
  • Knowledge and ability to work to a basic level in Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Ability to work well under pressure
