Escape Recruitment’s client, based in Dunfermline, is currently seeking a Supplier Quality Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a global organisation’s Supplier Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and play a vital role in managing supplier qualification for the Europe region. If you possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for process improvement, this position could be perfect for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse, collate, and report Supplier Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on a global scale.
  • Compile monthly and quarterly Global Supplier Quality (SQ) Technical Communication Packs.
  • Manage the qualification process for suppliers in the Europe region, including handling all external audit requests.
  • Lead process monitoring and improvement activities to enhance supplier quality.
  • Monitor and provide KPIs for eSMDR support

The candidate

  • Strong understanding of problem-solving methodologies such as 6 Sigma and 8D, as well as the concepts of 5S and Lean.
  • Proficiency in PC skills, including Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Statistical Analysis, and Presentation software.
  • Excellent people skills, presentation abilities, and the capacity to deliver effective training.
  • Familiarity with Document Control/Approval procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and suppliers.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • A collaborative approach, working well within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organisational and structured work style.
  • High level of integrity, ensuring compliance with quality standards and procedures.

Desirable:

  • 6 Sigma Greenbelt certification or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Root Cause & Corrective Action methodologies.
