Supplier Quality Engineer (Electro-Mechanical Devices)

One of the UK`s most exciting technology development companies is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their expanding team. As the Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be an integral member of the team working across multiple areas of the business including Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing and R&D. Working closely with the Procurement team you will be assisting in the development and implementation of supplier management programs and assuring consistent supplier delivery appropriate materials/components to then develop next generation products which are being used to quite literally save people’s lives!

If you are looking to have a role where every day is different, then this is the perfect role for you – combining your keen eye for detail and extensive quality engineering skills to assist with supplier risk analysis and assessment process through personal contact visit and audits; thus being a certified auditor would be an advantage.

The Supplier Quality Engineer will be joining a truly exceptional organisation undergoing rapid growth due to the huge success that their market disruptive technology is having on the medical devices / healthcare industry. Ideally, you will come from a similar high compliance industry (Medical, Aerospace, Automotive etc.) however other industries may be considered provided you have thorough understanding and experience of QMS.

The Supplier Quality Engineer will be an excellent communicator, as well as the following skills/experience:
• High attention to detail and quality engineering background
• Experience working with a Quality System (preferably ISO 13485 or ISO 9001.
• Hosting suppliers, dealing with parts quality improvement
• Working within the medical device industry or similar high compliance sector with mechanical, electronic or electromechanical technologies.
• Practical knowledge and experience in a range of quality techniques,
