About the Role



Reporting to and working closely with Supplier Manager to embed and apply the Group supplier management policy. Working collaboratively across the Group the role holder will be responsible for ensuring the relevant data in respect of supplier review requirements are captured, accurate and updated in a timely manner.

The role holder will be responsible for identifying and addressing emerging risk as well as generating practical process improvements that create efficiencies and value added benefits.

It is essential that strong organisational and analytical skills are maintained with an ability to collaborate with key stakeholders across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to become part of a newly created function that strives to drive forward procurement and supplier management within the business ensuring overall risk management whilst delivering value and efficiencies.

About You



We are looking for a highly motivated applicant with excellent organisational skills who delivers accuracy and attention to detail. Knowledge of supplier management is preferable, but not essential.

The Procurement and Supplier Management department is a newly created central function that provides guidance and support to the business in managing supplier relationships throughout the Supplier Lifecycle, from identification of business needs through to exit. The function maintains responsibility for agreement of new supplier relationships and supplier reviews in line with an agreed structure. It embeds a framework that ensures processes and procedures are aligned with regulatory requirements, allows for oversight of supplier risk, and drives efficiencies and cost benefits
