Our supervisors work on shifts and you will need to be flexible between midday and 2am any 5 days in 7.

What You’ll Do:

This isn’t an easy job and at times you will have to deal with large volumes but at Evri we act and adapt. Fast. You’ll be given the space to get the job done, thinking quickly to hit moving targets.

Day to day you’ll:
  • Whilst on shift you will be responsible for the supervision of the Warehouse Operatives as well as the operations in your zone including throughputs, parcel presentation, productivity levels and achievement of forecasted CPU against budgeted targets.
  • Supporting the Process Manager with the quality of all sortation and its performance against MI measurements.
  • Dependent on the area you work in, you will manage and control Client SLA’s, load presentation compliance, infeed targets, blockbuster targets, parcel presentation, manage and control mis-sorts and damages and momentum 100% scanning compliance.
  • Managing and controlling the reduction of damages and claims in your zone.
  • With the support of the Process Manager you will lead, organise and control the Operatives to ensure the relevant KPI’s are achieved.
  • Undertaking regular coaching, 121’s, performance reviews and team meetings with your Operatives.
  • Ensuring that all required reporting documentation/manifests are maintained to the required standard and timescales.
  • With the support of the Process Manager you are responsible for all H&S, hygiene and quality audits including risk assessments and safe systems of work in your zone whilst on shift.
  • Promoting and driving consistency to ensure the delivery of excellent operational standards.
  • Lead by example in creating a high-performance people orientated culture within the Sortation area that thinks inside the box.
  • Stand in for Process Manager as required.

Essential Skills & Experience Required:
  • Good Maths & English skills both written and verbal
  • PC literate – you’ll be ok with Microsoft Office products
  • Experience of logistics or distribution and ideally managing a team of operatives
  • Be able to work at pace to challenging targets within in a fast paced environment
  • Be able to influence using data and your natural charm
