STEM recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Study Director to join our clients team in Dundee. you will work with the team to lead and execute Biology. assigned by management. You may also have a role in supervising and training teams.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or substantial industry experience.
Ideally, more than 5 years of postgraduate lab experience.
Familiarity with GLP principles (if applicable).
Experience as a Study Director or Principal Investigator (for regulated studies, if applicable).
Responsibilities:
Study Management:
Lead and manage studies, from planning to execution, following our procedures and compliance standards.
Collaborate with quality assurance and technical teams for audits and reviews.
Ensure your team is well-trained and has the resources needed.
Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Standard Procedures:
Develop or update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and study documentation as required.
Planning and Scheduling:
Keep project schedules up-to-date.
Supervise activities using Team Gantt.
Efficiently schedule multiple studies/projects.
Work closely with the Programme Management team when necessary.
Experimentation:
Review scientific data and results.
Independently develop methods and conduct research.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze data, interpret results, and contribute to data presentations and reports.
Use appropriate statistical analysis when needed.
Stay updated on relevant guidelines and regulations.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records throughout the research process.
Follow our procedures for archiving and documentation.
Financial Management:
Assist in estimating project costs and tracking expenses.
Ensure accurate revenue forecasting for your own projects.
Business Development and Support:
Represent the company in client meetings.
Collaborate with the business development team to nurture client relationships.
Present our services to clients and attend conferences as required.
Quality and Safety:
Follow health and safety procedures and suggest improvements.
Work with quality assurance to address deviations and maintain high work standards

Salary: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
