Studio Manager

This is a new and exciting full-time opportunity for an experienced Studio Manager to join our thriving team. With continued growth and expansion, we’re seeking a highly motivated individual who has a passion for content creation and communications. You will help develop our messaging to support our brand positioning while working with some of the largest Global bio-tech and pharmaceutical organisations.

We are looking for an extremely adaptable candidate with very strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a diverse range of projects at the same time.

We design and deliver transformational learning, development and business/management consulting programmes within global organisations, working across international time zones. We’re looking for an individual who is highly organised, and adaptable to help us shape and support our long-term vision and objectives.

Led by two founding directors, you’ll be part of a tight, high-performing team where no two days are the same.

Our client projects involve creating supporting documents and slide decks, visual material, original research, and key regular written communications, through to theming and branding client meetings and events.

You’ll be hands-on from your first day so you need to be organised and proactive with the ability to plan your time and multi-task. We’d love a confident communicator with a knack for pre-empting requirements who can respond effectively to changing needs and priorities.

Studio Manager duties and responsibilities:

  • Work confidently with a small team or independently.
  • Manage the delivery of content for multiple design and learning & development projects.
  • Proactively manage projects and act as a central point of contact for directors, team members and freelance associates throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure resource is planned in advance and Zoho task management is kept up to date.
  • Manage the resources assigned to the project.
  • Maintain detailed records of the progress of current projects and facilitate a WIP/RAG meeting to inform the team of progress.
  • Proactively manage changes or movement in scope, identify risks, and devise contingency plans.
  • Effectively communicate and continually manage expectations of team members and business associates in a clear and timely fashion.
  • Ensure the progress of all developments is transparent and reported to the relevant people.
  • Liaise with Subject Matter Experts who develop content for our programmes.
  • Assist the team, when needed, across all aspects of programme content creation including proofing and insisting on production quality before giving your sign off to the final version.
  • Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably requested by the directors.

Studio Manager requirements and qualifications

· Working knowledge of virtual learning environments and learning management systems would be beneficial.

  • Outstanding organisational skills, ability to plan, with fastidious attention to detail is a must.
  • You must have at least 3 years experience of using Adobe CS, MS Outlook and MS Office software.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Proven ability to take on new learning.
  • Experience working in the field of learning and development would be beneficial but not essential.
