21st September, 9am - 4pm - Northumbria Uni

22nd September, 9am - 3:30pm - Sunderland Uni

27th September, 2:30pm - 8pm - Student Shopping Night at the Bridges, Sunderland

28th September, 9am - 4pm - Newcastle Uni

29th September, 9am - 4pm - Newcastle Uni

30th September, 4pm - 8pm - Student Shopping Night at the Cleveland Centre, Middlesbrough

Additional hours, working at a number Freshers Fairs that we are attending also available

About us

Student Shopping UK plan, promote and deliver student shopping nights to retail destinations across the UK. Since 2011 we have delivered over 100 events, across 34 venues, engaging with over 700,000 students.

Our clients include intu Trafford Centre (Manchester), Gunwharf Quays (Portsmouth), London Designer Outlet (London), intu Metrocentre (Gateshead), Churchill Square (Brighton), intu Eldon Square (Newcastle).

The role

As a member of our student shopping night promo team you will be assisting our management team in delivering our student shopping nights that we we have taking place across the North East this Autumn.

Roles include;

- Registering students as they arrive for the event
- Distributing promotional material to students, promoting the offers available.
- Assisting the delivery of entertainments across the centre
- Collecting feedback from students about the event
- Pre event staff are also expected to help promote the event on Social Media

This is the perfect role for event management and marketing students looking for some hands-on experience.

Job requirements

  • University Student (ideally in Event Management or Marketing)
  • Previous event management and/or marketing experience
  • A professional, confident and friendly manner
  • An excellent eye for detail
  • A pro-active, positive and ’can-do’ attitude
  • Problem solving and calm under pressure
  • Based in Newcastle, Sunderland, Durham or Middlesbrough
