INTO University of Exeter is currently looking to hire a Student Services Advisor to join their busy team.

The Student Services Advisor will be responsible for delivering high standards of customer service and provide administrative services in an efficient and timely manner, implementing INTO policy and procedure.

Your work location will be mainly within the Reception Team in the INTO Centre, with some time spent at the accommodation site.

You will play an important part in providing high quality service to students, maintaining accurate records and supporting various activities that underpin the student experience. You will further develop your skills in problem-solving and communication, and gain experience in delivering high standards of service to enhance the student journey.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Reception duties, acting as first point of contact, providing a customer focused, high quality service dealing with telephone and other enquiries, supporting students, visitors and staff. Duties will also include arranging airport transfers and producing student cards.
• Aid students during induction, including late arrivals.
• Processing and inputting data and maintaining accurate records, in the areas of admissions, enrolment and assessment.
• Assist with the promotion and preparation of the social programme.
• Support meeting administration, in the form of document preparation and minute-taking.
• Assist in the follow-up of student non-engagement with class and assessment activities.
• Support examination set-up and perform invigilation duties.
• Support activities surrounding the arrival and departure of students.

About you:

• You will have excellent command of written and spoken English;
• Educated to A’ Level or equivalent.
• Approachable, warm and friendly and have the ability to be assertive and constructive when required.
• Experience of working in a busy customer focused environment.
• Experience of working with and implementing administrative systems
• Good IT skills with a familiarity of Microsoft Office, excel and publisher.
