Student Services is looking to appoint an Administrator.

In Student Services our mission is to enhance the experience of each University of Nottingham student placing the student and academic experience at the heart of everything.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Quality and Student Management System Team. You will have responsibility for some of the processes relating to external examiners and exceptional outside regulations cases; provide guidance and support for the development of University policies, regulations and procedures; work with others on development of the University’s student record system, Campus Solutions; and have a role in co-ordination with the University of Nottingham Malaysia (UNM) and University of Nottingham Ningbo Campus (UNNC).

You will be able to solve problems, to see the big picture while still paying attention to the detail always working to high standards. You will manage your own workload with minimum supervision with the ability to react to changing priorities, developing a network of contacts helping to deliver the priorities of the Team, Department and wider University. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must as is a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

You will be educated to GCSE level, including Grade C or above in English and Maths, or hold vocational qualifications (NVQ 2-3) or equivalent, with some relevant experience OR significant experience in a related area.

This role is available on a permanent basis. Hours of work for this post full time (36.25 hours per week), normally 8.45am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday inclusive with a one hour lunch break. Job share arrangements may be considered.

There may be times when annual leave may be restricted and/or with prior notice, additional working may be required.
