Organisational Information

MidKent College is at the heart of the education sector in South East England, and a College which Ofsted recognised as Good for overall effectiveness, in a November 2018 inspection.

As a progressive student-centred College, we are now looking for a Student Counsellor on Term-Time Only basis working 26 hours per week, 40 weeks per year.

Details of the role

The successful candidate will have responsibility for providing confidential counselling to Further and Higher Education students at the College, to enable them to succeed in programmes of education and training.

Interviews will be held on Wednesday 16 February 2022.

Job Requirements

You will be a member of a professional body (BACP, UKCP or BPC) and adhere to their guidance, policy and practice, supervision.

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification.

You will also have a minimum of one year’s experience working with young people and adults.
