Permanent contract/Full Time

We are seeking a Student Affairs Manager to join our friendly and dynamic Student Affairs Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work for an international company.

As the Student Affairs Manager you will play a critical role in shaping the overall student experience. You will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of student affairs activities, including student support services, extracurricular programming, and student engagement initiatives. Your Responsibilities

Assisting the Student Registry Services Officer with the following processes:

  • Welfare
  • Discipline and behaviour
  • Professional and personal development
  • Arrivals
  • Induction and integration
  • Student Experience
  • Sports and recreation
  • Accommodation
  • Liaise with University of Roehampton (UoR) Health and Wellbeing Service on significant student welfare cases and with relevant UoR teams on student-facing support.
  • Devise and implement the GIHE London Experience Program (a funded sequence of cultural, sporting, and educational activities for GIHE London students in the capital).
  • Ensure that the relevant student related GIHE policies and procedures are implemented at GIHE London and adhered to thereafter.
  • Work in support of the GIHE Departments on student-related data collection, analysis and reporting, including for accreditation purposes.
  • Ensure that effective internal and external communications are made with regard to all aspects of student welfare and experience at GIHE London.
  • Work within GIHE London’s agreed budget for student welfare, integration, and experience.
  • Hire, train, motivate and manage the Student Affairs and Marketing Intern and ensure that Student Concierge and office administration duties are covered at all times when the campus is operating
  • Planning and running of annual Summer Program, as well as recruiting and managing team of Summer Program Coordinators
  • Managing Student Committees, the Student Ambassador Programme and the Student Government Association
  • Managing the Student Affairs budget, including compiling purchase orders, expense reports and submitting invoices
  • Other duties as agreed by the Campus Director, GIHE (London).


About You

You will have:


  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Experience of student-facing role in an educational and multi-cultural student context essential
  • Minimum of 2 years successful experience at a university/higher education organisation in student-facing role (desirable but not essential).
  • Experience of student welfare and/or student event management is highly desirable (desirable but not essential)
