Responsibilities:
The work we do provides critical infrastructure for some of the most important systems in the world. You’ll be installing critical infrastructure in a variety of environments, ranging from mission critical data centres, smart buildings, prisons and defence establishments to name a few.

You’ll be learning, installing, terminating, testing and certifying network cable infrastructure components in a variety of environments, ranging from mission critical data centres and smart buildings to prisons and defence establishments.

You will be an integral part of our delivery team representing our business as the face of North. You’ll be buddied up with a senior engineer to ensure work is carried out safely and to high quality standards.
Qualifications:

  • As you’ll be in a highly visible role, professionalism and excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must, and it goes without saying, being highly organised, punctual and energised by working in a fast-paced and exciting environment.
  • You’ll need a driving license and have a willingness to travel across the UK and overseas on occasion.
  • If you’d like to join our ‘Young Guns’ Apprenticeship programme – BTEC Level 3, you’ll need to have passed your GCSE in maths and English at grade 4 or above.
  • It would be advantageous if you’re security cleared, or hold am MOJ clearance and you’re comfortable with computers utilising programmes such as Microsoft, Outlook and MS project databases and working with network hardware and wireless toolkits.
