Strategy / Placement Manager

What can you expect?

This role is a position within the strategy team for Guy Carpenter, where you will be expected to conduct in depth analysis including financial analysis and dealing with large sets of data.

You will gain exposure to the entirety of Guy Carpenter and be expected to get involved in strategic projects that span a wider range of functions & lines of business whilst gaining exposure to senior executives within Guy Carpenter but also within the wider insurance industry as you engage on external projects.

Utilise your background ideally within finance, strategy or risk within a diverse position that will provide you with a diverse range of skills and experience, and will lead to progression into a number of teams here at Guy Carpenter.

This individual will report into the COO International & Global Specialties.

We will rely on you to:

• Oversee all aspects of routine projects, from start to finish, so that they are completed on schedule.

• Work with management and professional staff to develop and carry out overall annual strategic plans, vision, and values.

• Review and recommend an appropriate planning governance structure, and informs planning stakeholders and team members.

• Interact and communicate effectively with stakeholders and other interested parties.

• Provide high level analytical support and input to the business.

• Liaise with other areas in the organization to provide specialized resources and contributions for the planning effort.

What you need to have:

• Strong numeracy skills with recent background in strategy consulting, finance or risk.

• Good organisational skills with effective prioritisation of workload.

• Recent experience within data and financial analysis.

• Project management exposure would be advantageous.

• A desire to learn and able face off to clients/ senior stakeholders.
