Who are enfinium?

As one of the UK’s leading energy from waste operators, enfinium is supporting our country’s journey to a Net Zero economy. We do this by operating and developing six decarbonisation hubs around the UK, where we use waste that would otherwise go to landfill to generate homegrown energy.

This is a very exciting new opportunity to join enfinium and the Skelton Grange team at its infancy throughout the end of construction and see the site through commissioning and into being an operational EfW.

This role is due to commence in March 2024 to support with initial inventory and organisation of spare parts

Skelton Grange is an energy from waste facility in Leeds in construction. Once completed, it will process up to 410,000 tonnes of residual waste and use it to generate 49MW (gross) of renewable baseload electricity per annum. This is enough energy to power more than 100,000 UK homes.

What is the role?

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the Stores Person will be responsible for the maintenance of a department’s stores which includes but is not limited to, stocking of operational materials and supplies, inventory control and records, purchasing, and related duties as required.

The Store Person will ensure all Health, Safety and maintenance equipment is available, accurately resourced, identifiable, and available within the warehouse to ensure the highest health and safety standards of the enfinium team and to minimize facility downtime.

What you will be doing?

Please see below a brief overview of the role and the responsibilities

  • Ordering goods & services and hire equipment through the correct procurement process. This can include national and international logistics
  • Inventory control, including the end-to-end cycle of stock management such as receiving, inspecting, returning, unloading, shelving, pricing, delivering, and maintaining a perpetual inventory of key and critical engineering supplies and equipment.
  • Receipting of goods and services, and keeping them in a organised and easily identifiable fashion
  • Conducting a monthly inventory stocktake, and update the CMMS system
  • Procurement of approved items and ensuring that they are price matched
  • Safe operation of forklift trucks and other mechanical equipment required to manoeuvre goods within the warehouse and throughout the facility.
  • Uphold and promote high levels of Health and Safety, and Quality, at all times.
  • Operates simple office machines (which may in some cases include computer assisted inventor)
  • Performs related and peripheral site-specific duties as required.
  • Controls and manages pooled equipment and apparatus.

Essential criteria

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must display a level of underpinning knowledge in the required areas to support the required responsibilities and duties for the role.

  • Counterbalance and reach forklift truck operator licence.
  • PC literate in Microsoft office products.
  • Experience using CMMS such as Tabware, SAP, etc.

  • Ability to train other members of the team in all aspects of stock control and procurement as required.
  • Management of data within a CMMS database.
  • Work effectively with others to improve efficiencies
