We have an excellent opportunity for a Stores Person to join a well-established organisation in Wallsend on a potentially long-term contract.Dayshift 42-hour week Monday to Thursday - 07:30hrs - 17:00hrs and Friday - 07:30hrs - 13:30hrs£13.50 per hour - For the first 42 hours worked and approved£14.85 per hour - In excess of 42 hours worked and approved£20.25 per hour - Saturday & Sunday hours worked and approved£27.00 per hour - Bank Holiday hours worked and approvedBackshift 42-hour week - 17:00hrs - 02:30hrs and Friday - 13:30 - 19:30hrs.£14.99 per hour - For the first 42 hours worked and approved£16.49 per hour - In excess of 42 hours worked and approved£22.49 per hour - Saturday & Sunday hours worked and approved£29.98 per hour - Bank Holiday hours worked and approvedDuties and Responsibilities for the Stores Person* To operate, maintain and continuously improve the control and storage of goods and / or material applicable to the project and / or as required for Company business activities. * Work in accordance with agreed principles for the receiving and sending of goods and materials.* Ensure all paperwork is received and recorded as per our clients stock control procedures. * Ensure stores area are kept with safe and clean working conditions and maintain a high standard of housekeeping to maximise efficiency and minimise risks.As a Stores Person you will have, but not limited to:A good level of physical fitness.To enjoy practical work.Able to work quickly and methodically.Good organisational skills.Basic computer skills.Good teamwork skills.A safety-conscious attitude to your work.FLT licence requiredHave previous experience in this type of position and ideally within a heavy engineering environment.Interested and have these skills required?
