The company is hiring over 100 staff to work on a new production line at its Hull headquarters as the industry benefits from a staycation boom.
Accountablilities
For the adherence to the perpetual count program adherence, communicating the results to all stakeholders.
Carry out daily/weekly and monthly perpetual cycle counts
Ensure the count can be carried out effectively
Effectively manage the stock cards to ensure an effective count process
Make sure all stakeholders are either aware or involved in the count process
Ensure the plan timetable is adhered to
Achieve minimum target of 95% quantity accuracy or less than £750 value variance
Work with team colleagues to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness, and complies with company and legislative standards at all times.
Assist with housekeeping & 5’s.
Undertake waste management duties, ensuring all recycling is processed efficiently, operating machinery where appropriate in a safe manner.
Assist newly appointed or less experienced colleagues by providing guidance as appropriate;
Deputise and provide cover for absent colleagues as required, and regularly refresh on processes to ensure this can be achieved effectively;
Have a basic understanding of stock control procedures
Experience with MRP systems
Good time management skills
Problem solving skills
Able to work within a cross functional team
Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently, under tight timeline constraints and pressures whilst still maintaining attention to detail and quality
The job offers up to £X p.h. (with the right experience), access to pension and cycle-to-work schemes, opportunities to work overtime, 22 days’ annual leave and COVID sick pay at 85% or income
